Colour Sampling

To start my sampling I sampled doing rainbow design to reflect my sheets on both cotton and calico but it was the plain to see that the cotton took better then the calico. Then from my favourite samples of the rainbow I took the dilute solution of procian and used them to experiment with single colour samples. I stuck with the same five colours used throughout my project.

Solutions used-

½ Cup water- 1x 1/8 Tsp Procian

½ Cup water- 2x 1/8 Tsp Procian

½ Cup water- 3x 1/8 Tsp Procian

½ Cup water- 4x 1/8 Tsp Procian

½ Cup Water- 5x 1/8 Tsp Procian

½ Cup water- 5x 1/8 Tsp Procian (Rinsed once dyed)

Procians used-

Turquoise- MXG

Yellow- MX4G

Pink- MX5B

Green- MXG+MX4G

Purple- MXG+MX5B
